Check a lease or purchase offer
How the check works
The leasing factor is the monthly payment divided by the gross list price, times 100. The total cost factor adds the down payment and the delivery fee, spread over the term. All amounts count with VAT. The rating uses the total cost factor: a large down payment lowers the monthly payment and would otherwise make an expensive offer look cheap.
The bands follow LeasingMarkt's table: below 0.5 a top offer, below 0.7 very good, below 0.9 good, up to 1.0 average, above that on the expensive side. GoLeasy draws nearly the same lines but counts exactly 0.5, 0.7 and 0.9 into the better band. Neither gives separate bands for electric cars. According to LeasingMarkt, electric cars averaged 0.61 in 2025, almost level with petrol cars at 0.60.
For a purchase the check works out the discount off the list price in percent. No source supports bands for that, so it only shows the average from the CAR institute's monthly discount study next to it.
The list price comes from our catalogue and covers the variant without options. If your offer includes options, use the list price from the offer. The check does not rate mileage allowance, service packages or insurance.
Your amounts stay in your browser. We do not store them or send them anywhere.
