History

Togg was formed on 25 June 2018 by four Turkish companies, Anadolu Group, BMC, Turkcell and Zorlu Holding, together with the chambers union TOBB. The goal was a car developed and built in Turkey. The plant at Gemlik near Bursa opened in October 2022, the T10X SUV reached customers in 2023, and the T10F fastback followed in September 2025.

EV strategy

Togg builds electric cars only and keeps a lot in house: the batteries come from Siro, a joint venture with Farasis, and the charging network is run by its Trugo subsidiary. Sales run through the company's own Trumore app rather than a dealer network. In Germany, its first market outside Turkey, the cars have been orderable since 29 September 2025.
